Day 5 of Mayhem’s 12 Days of Christmas posts brings you the supremely talented tiLLie. She has been releasing some fantastic tracks since 2019. It is almost impossible to put tiLLie in a genre box, which makes her just the kind of artist I love. She has a knack for producing music with infectious hooks and is skillful at developing perfect earworms. She has a great pop sensibility which is intertwined with punk, metal, and rap to name just a few. Her current single “jeLLiefish aPocaLypsE” is something very special and her cover of the Darkness classic “I Believe In A Thing Called Love” is one of the best covers I have heard for a while.
