Did you know what Pharrell William’s had in his mind for his modern classic “Happy”? I love the song but I never knew what his tune recipe was. Apparently he asked the mix engineer to make it sound like a combo of three distinct things;

Have you seen the new Cadbury Dairy Milk advert? the one with the dancing clothes? I think it’s amazing! It’s soundtracked by an unusually good 80s song; “We Don’t Have To take Our Clothes Off” by Jermaine Stewart. Cadbury have quite a good record with adverts. there was the eyebrow thing and also the drumming Gorilla which used Phil Collins classic (lete me tell you that you don’t hear me say that very often) “In The Air Tonight”
Jermaine Stewart sadly wasn’t around long enough to have many hits. He died of AIDS related complications in 1987 aged just 39. “We Don’t Have To Take Our Clothes Off” was his biggest hit and reached number 5 in the US and just failed to make the number one slot in the UK in 1986.
