Like many people of my generation I was sad to hear of the hard copy demise of the Dandy comic this week, although it is still available on-line. I tried a few outlets today but was unable to get myself a copy of that final edition which has an appearance from Paul McCartney. So if anyone has a spare one let me know, I’d be happy to pay for it.
Now as this is a music blog I need to find a couple of Dandy appropriate songs, so here goes.
With Just A Hint Of Mayhem 
I tried to find that final issue of The Dandy, too… also without any luck. This lack of presence in newsagents couldn’t have helped the comic’s chances. It’s a sad day when a cultural icon like The Dandy can’t entice “the kids” away from their Playstations any more 😦
On a happier note, in the last couple of weeks I’ve seen both Adam Ant and The Dandy Warhols live – still “looking flash” and still sounding great!

Even more sad is the fact that it will now be on line only meaning any kids interested in it will still be glued to a screen.
I really wanted to see Adam Ant but have not got around to it. My mate saw him and said it was a superb gig.
