I had the absolute pleasure of interviewing one of York’s finest bands, City Snakes last week. I should point out that owing to a couple of technical issues (damn those gremlins to hell and back) there are two points in the interview where the microphone cut out, so apologies for two little clunky moments. The WJAHOM Interview Podcast – Nick Aldous of Pennine Suite April 6, 2022

A couple of weeks back I had the pleasure of catching up with Pennine Suite front man Nick Aldous, that was on the eve of the release of the band’s rather excellent new single “Pass On You” which reached 5,000 streams in its first week in the wider world. Nick talks about band names and gigs, spills the beans on his band mates, muses about merch, T-Shirt designs (check out a rather infamous T-Shirt sported by Hugh Cornwell back in the 70s in the picture below) and chats about some of his favourite music among other things! The With Just A Hint Of Mayhem Podcast Volume 1 April 8, 2019

It has taken me a while, but I have now completed the first With Just A Hint Of Mayhem podcast! It is, I hope, an informative piece on ‘Diamond Dogs’ which is my favourite Bowie album. The editing on the podcast is not perfect, it is a bit clunky and there are some small gaps, but it is my first attempt. Take a listen and let me know what you think! I have an idea for content for the next couple of Podcasts, but if there is a specific topic you would like me to cover I would be happy to consider it!
