Miss Piggy supreme Muppet diva was modelled on singer Peggy Lee. In fact the first lady of Muppetry was originally to be called ‘Miss Piggy Lee’. She was described as a ‘blousey, self-obsessed, blonde singer. But that all changed when Peggy Lee threatened to sue the Muppet creators and Miss Piggy Lee became the now iconic Miss Piggy!
