It was an absolute pleasure and so much fun interviewing Harkirit and Joe who, if the Crescent in York was sentient would be its heart and lungs. I had an absolute blast interviewing Hærtstrings, one of York’s finest new bands, last night. It was in the outside seated area at the back of the Fossgate Social in York. It was damned cold, but that did not deter us! We spoke about their recent victory in the Fulford Arms Battle of the Bands contest, their musical influences, and a whole stack of other things. The interview lasted just over 30 minutes, but we could have gone on for a few more hours! They are a great bunch of people and a hugely talented band. Click here to listen to the interview.
